The Louisquisset Ladies' League 2010 Rally For The Cure was held on June 22, 2010. As always, all ladies dressed in pink outfits for this yearly successful event. Last year the ladies all wore a special Badge depicting a picture of Amy and Phil Mickelson. The Badges, stating: "Amy & Phil - Good Luck", were worn in support of Amy Mickelson who was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly before our Rally. The Tournament was played in honor of Amy and Phil and was a complete success!

Donna Niles, wife of Louisquisset's Golf Pro, Keith Niles, baked her usual delicious muffins for the girls and Donna exceeded herself again by putting pink plastic ribbons on the pink colored muffins which were also covered with pink icing! The plastic ribbons were not only an extra added "touch" to her outstanding baking abilities but once the muffins were consumed the plastic ribbons were used to repair golf ball divots!

Total contributions made and donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure totaled over $1100 - the largest contribution made by the Louisquisset Ladies' League to date and exceeded last year's contribution of $1080.

One day breast cancer will be only a memory and it is events such as we have at Louisquisset, as well as nationwide, that will make THE CURE possible!
