Louisquisset Golf Club is a Private Golf Facility
At Louisquisset Golf Club, Ken Venturi has built a course that is, at once, fun and accessible for the novice, while challenging and thought-provoking for other golfers. Ken's professional play on hundreds of courses around the world coupled with his experience in countless tournaments and team competitions have given him exceptional insight into golf course design. It is perfectly exhibited at Louisquisset.
Yet, what sets Louisquisset apart from other golf clubs is not only its exceptional playability for woman and men, but the interest it takes in the traditional elements of the game.
Carved through natural wetlands, rolling hills, and oak trees, Louisquisset offers golfers a setting that is in the middle of the city where they can get away for a few hours a day. Residences line its links, creating a course that is like playing in Florida.
All of this, together with the service found in private golf clubs, makes Louisquisset a place where golf enthusiasts can always enjoy a great round of golf.

To All Members,
We first would like to thank all the golf members for their support this past season. The Louisquisset Golf Committee continues to strive to make Louisquisset an enjoyable, affordable, and easily accessible golfing community. In order to continue to achieve this goal, we have changed a few items in the membership handbook and the membership application.
Specifically:
(i) The Golf Committee is now requiring that half of the membership dues be paid by March 1st. This change is being implemented so that the Golf Committee will have an actual membership count. Having an actual count will assist the Committee with respect to the "marketing" of new members. In other words, if we find that on March 1st the membership level is at a profitable and sustainable level, we will not spend money on unnecessary marketing of new members - but rather use the money to the benefit of the existing membership.
(ii) This past season (and seasons prior) presented a problem with golf members not utilizing the handicap system (i.e., members not posting scores). The club had been paying for this service in past years. However, due to the fact that some members are not utilizing the handicap system - we feel that at this point in time it would be best to implement a $25 fee for using the handicap system. This will ensure that those members who regularly use the system will have the ability to continue to do so - and at the same time, the Golf Committee is not unnecessarily spending money with respect to those members who do not utilize the handicap system. This is consistent with the practice at all other golf clubs.
(iii) Due to basic cost increases in maintaining the Golf Club, membership dues have been minimally increased across the board. The rates are posted on the web at louisquissetgolfclub.com; copies of the same are available at the office.
As always, we encourage your input and suggestions; all of which are discussed and considered by the Golf Committee. Accordingly, any comments and suggestions you may have can be facilitated via e-mail at jim@feeleys.necoxmail.com or via correspondence sent to the office.
Thank you.
